Cards on chain, and what edition one holders are owed

Cards are database rows today. They are not tokens and this page will keep saying so until the day that changes. There is no date for it, no countdown on this site, and no progress bar pretending to fill.

What does exist, from the very first pack, is the record: every opening is stored with the address, the card, the settling block and the timestamp. So the claim below is checkable rather than promised.

If cards are ever issued on chain, that record is the list, and edition one holders are minted their finds at no cost to them. Conditional, because a promise we cannot price yet is not a promise. Verifiable, because the evidence is already being written.

Do I need a wallet to look around?+

No. The codex, the dossiers and the proof pages are readable by anyone. A signature is only needed to bind cards to an address.

Why twelve and not all of them?+

Ninety-six illustrations is a set nobody finishes and a bill nobody should pay before the game is proven. Twelve closes. Edition two adds twelve more.

What happens when a stat cannot be read?+

The row keeps its last valid value, states how old it is, and stops claiming freshness. Gaps are shown as gaps, never filled with a plausible number.

Why do packs take ten seconds?+

Because that is how long a hundred blocks take on this chain, and the settling block has to be one that did not exist when you committed. The animation is the wait, not a cover for it.

What if the settle block never arrives?+

The pack is voided and shown as voided, with the reason. We never settle it with a number of our own, and your free pack for that day comes back.

Are these really not NFTs?+

Correct, and we would rather say it twice than let you assume otherwise. There is no contract of ours on any chain. Cards are database rows bound by signature.

Can rarity change if supply changes?+

No. Rarity is frozen at print. Only the six measures move. A card that got rare overnight would make the whole set meaningless.

What does the token actually do?+

Extra packs and trades. You send it to an address, the system reads that transaction on chain and credits you. We never hold your funds and there is nothing to withdraw.
